What, when and where was your best meal inside of Walt Disney World?

Why was it the best?

What did you eat?

If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time?

Do you have photos?

You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too?

What, when and where was your best meal inside of Walt Disney World? Le Cellier!

Why was it the best? The food, service, atmosphere were the best we've had at any WDW restaurant.

What did you eat? mussels, salad, surf & turf

If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time? yes!

Do you have photos? no, I always forget to snap photos because I'm usually too hungry.

You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too? We all loved it!!

I'll play along!

What, when and where was your best meal inside of Walt Disney World?

Ohana, for DS's birthday a few years ago. Maybe Dec 2007 (it was the old menu)?

Why was it the best?

Stephanie who use to be a server at the Whispering Canyon was our server! She is the best cousin ever! And our cousin chef was amazing with DS's food allergies!

What did you eat?

A little bit of everything, but the pineapple with caramel sauce was my favorite!

If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time?

We have eaten there 4 times. Twice was the old menu and twice the newer menu. Every time it has been a wonderful experience! We all like the pick and peel shrimp of old menu better than the sweet and sour shrimp of new menu. Also we all prefer the pineapple dessert to the bread pudding.
Do you have photos?

Yes, somewhere. But the one I remember most is the one with my son after eating a zillion pick and peel shrimp.
You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too?

We all enjoyed our meal there, each time we've gone there. We just think the price is steep, so we haven't been back in long time. DS loved the coconut races and limbo contest!

What, when and where was your best meal inside of Walt Disney World?

The one we most talk about was at the Pepper Market in 2004

Why was it the best?

Grilled tuna was awsome

What did you eat?

If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time?

They haven't had it again :(

Do you have photos?

Definitely LeCellier

Why was it the best? The staff was extremely friendly and the food was out of this world
What did you eat? I had the mushroom filet minus the mushrooms; I had the cream cheese mashed potatos instead. And the Cheddar Cheese Soup and the Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey cake were awesome to.

If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time?
Yes, we have, and each meal has been as good as the first.

Do you have photos?
Yes, here are a few:

You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too?
Yes, DH loved it too. We've not been back in two years, but hope to go back next year.

Hmmmm I am real partial to San Angel Inn. On either our 07 or 08 trip to WDW we made reservations for SAI as the Mrs and I love Mexican food. I remember having a dish which was chicken, sausage onions and red peppers in a creamy sauce. Dear God it was delicious. Just the right amount of spice. I may have licked the dish it came in.
Why was it the best?
Just a real savory spicy dish. not too heavy. And I truly love the whole set up of the restaurant. You really feel like you are in a little town with an outdoor restaurant and market place

What did you eat? See Above

If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time?

Sadly NO...had a slightly different version of the dish and it was no where near as good as the first time.

Do you have photos? Of the dish? No. Inside the restaurant? Yes somewhere but they are probably from last year.
You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too?
The kids back then were really picky eaters. They since have discovered tacos and burritos. The DW...Yes she is like me...loves the Mexican food and I believe she had some sort of shrimp dish.

Yeah, when I was posting them I was kicking myself in the pants for not booking LeCellier for the second year in a row. But I will stick with what I've got.

So many to choose from. I think I'd have to go with Crystal Palace breakfast.

Why was it the best?
Our first trip with the kids; it was their first character meal. The entire family was so excited and wrapped up in the magic.

What did you eat?
Love the puffed french toast

If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time?
Every year - and yes - it's always magical for us.

Do you have photos?
Tons and tons of the same shots every year, lol, kids with all the characters & doing the Pooh Parade; although they feel they are too old for that now Sad

You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too?
A magical meal for the entire family; one thing we can all certainly agree on.

I have never eaten tuna warm. The only tuna I've ever had has always been in tuna salad, lol. Does it have a fishy taste warm?

I have never eaten at Le Celier. I've tried the cheese soup at the F&W festival. Those pics look amazing and I'm with Buzz, they make me hungry! Is what you got still on their new menu?

Never eaten there either. I would love to try it there, but I have a family of picky eaters. The only Mexican they like is taco bell, lol. That's so sad that they got rid of your favorite dish.

What is puffed french toast? My 17 year old thinks he is too old for some of the Disney magic too, but our 7 year old gets totally immersed in the magic since he can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality. Since he has ASD that will probably last a few years longer than it did for our oldest.

Grilled tuna is nothing like the stuff you get in cans. If properly grilled, it can be like the best fillet mignon you ever had. Kona Cafe always has it on the menu. But we always remember thr one at the PM because it was our first time, and it was so unexpected and so good.

I need to break out of my rut and try new foods and new places at WDW! My food bucket list now includes Tuna steak and Le Cellier!

What, when and where was your best meal inside of Walt Disney World?

Very simply, the Ham, egg and chesse croissant at the Main Street Bakery.
Why was it the best?
I was really hungry and I really enjoyed watching all the people rushing by while I sat enjoying my breakfast. There was excitement in the air.
If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time?
I have not had it again yet. I will be getting it in May.
Do you have photos?
No photos. I will try to get it in May.
You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too?
I would not know if they liked it or not because they all got something else and I would not share. Allthough they really tried to pursuade me.

What, when and where was your best meal inside of Walt Disney World?
LeCellier our first time- it was on my actual 29th birthday in 2006.

Why was it the best? The atmosphere, service, and especially the food was spectacular!

What did you eat? Cheddar cheese soup, mushroom filet, the chocolate cake, and I got a special birthday cupcake- how did our server know I LOVE chocolate and raspberries?

If you have eaten there again was it just as good as the first time? We've been back on the last two trips too- and every time it's just as awesome! DH and I both agreed that our server Barry last time was the best server we've ever had any any restaurant. And you can cut the steaks with a fork- mmmm! We even got just the soup at the F&W festival.

Do you have photos?
Here are some from our visits:

my birthday dessert

chocolate moose

mushroom filet

NY strip steak with scalloped potatoes (I don't even like scalloped potatoes, but DH made me try them- they're heavenly!)

kid's steak and fries

You loved it, but did DH, DD or DS love it too?
DH and both boys love it too. My oldest got the NY strip along with DH last time and now I think he's spolied!
