PostSubject: 2 adults 3 kids one room???   Fri Dec 09, 2011 10:04 am

Our family has stayed at CSR for the last 3 years since our kids were 3,2,0+ Now that our one kid is 3yrs old were not able to book a room at CSR this year because our family does not fit in the room due to fire codes etc. Does anyone know a way around this as we want to go back to CSR this year but are not willing to pay for the suite as were never in the room enough to justify spending all that money. Last year we asked for a roll away bed and it was great, but for some reason because she's 3 now they say when i call it has to be under 3 to fit in the standard room. Any help would be awesome.

Thanks

welcome to the CSR Forum!

Sorry, I don't understand all the different fire codes in FL either but once you have 5 people, CSR is no longer an option unless you get 2 rooms or a jr suite. Many have expressed disappointment with the WDW resorts options when it comes to a family of 5, your options on where to stay change and are limited.

were def. having problems with a family of 5 for sure. I wish they would give families a better rate for 2 rooms etc when booking. we dont even care if there far apart on the resort as long as it's affordable.

thanks

I hear ya. I really don't understand why they don't discount the rooms more to get people to spend on food and merchandise. But I guess that's why I'm not in that industry. There is a good code out now. I got 25% off my CSR room for May.

Only choices for family of 5 through Disney is Alligator buyou at POR, All star music family suite, or 2 br villa at a DVC.

However, if you are DVC and book through DVC you can get 5 in a 1 br villa. Doesn't make any sense.

Anyone know how I can send a email direct to a manager to see what they might be able to do on a room discount. I have searched all over the internet and only be able to find the phone number to the resort. I called but everytime i ask to speak to a manager they try and help me first and then pass me over to the booking dept. at disney head office. I seem to get know where with that. It's also during the value season in feb. so i would imagine they would love a little extra $$ instead of me booking at port orleans or somewhere else.
thanks
