PostSubject: Marina- water sports?   Fri Apr 13, 2012 10:22 am

When I read about and see pics of CSR I see boats and such on the pond (?) but I have also read there are no "watersports" at CSR. Are there paddle boats or anything for rent there? Confused, and just looking for the definitive answer. Thanks!

Everything is gone from the marina. Its a shame. The resort closed it over a year ago. The only thing they still do is the bass excursions.

Thanks for the clarification- in all pics I have seen- even the main one on this page there appears to be boats in the docks- that's why I was asking. Bummer- even paddle boats (you know the "duck" kind) would be nice.

Yes, old picture. The water mice and paddle boats were great family fun but hopefully they will return someday.

When we stayed there in August, we were told the bass excursions were stopped there. Not sure if it was just for that month, or permanently? I know they have them on Bay Lake.

Thanks Michelle. I wonder if that is permanent. I'll have to ask in 32 days!!

YES!!!

I was hoping they would reopen the marina! I wonder if they will have the Sea Raycers. I'd certainly take one for a spin when I arrive next weekend.
