welcome to the CSR Forum Johny!

Pretty much all of 9b is waterview. The front has the big lake view and the back has the small lake view. 9b has always been my favorite building.

I'll be staying there in May

Hi! Glad to have found this forum!

I have a question---when visiting disney website for conventions, it stated there that the lounge would be open from 7a.m-10pm. It didn't state anything about closing at certain times during the day. Is your info current on this with the 7-10 and 5-10? Just curious. I may want to book this but don't really want to if it isn't going to be open during the day.

Thanks!-----also....is there a charge for alcoholic beverages that you know of?

Thanks for the great site!

When it was open for convention guest only, and they were paying for this service, it used to be open 7am to 10pm. But what they found during the test phase was it was busy enough to remain open all day. As with anything at WDW, everything is subject to change.

I'm glad you found us and welcome to the CSR Forum!!

Hi, love your forum!

We booked a room at the CSR in August, we requested to be placed in Cabans 9B. Is this for club level guests only, or will get to stay in that building? We did not pay anything extra, just a standard room.

welcome to the CSR Forum! Glad you found us.

What I have been told is that cabana 9b is for guests that book club level rooms. No upgrades are to be given in this category at this time.

Thanks for the info. Love this website!

So does no upgrades at this time mean we cannot pay to upgrade to this building and if we can, how much will it cost?

If you pay, then your all set. What I mean by upgrade is a CM at check in cannot upgrade someone to club level who paid for a regular or preferred room. I believe its about $25 extra per night.

Hello, thanks for all your help!

One more question, we called to see if we could pay to upgrade to club level and was informed that there is no "club level" at CSR. Are we asking for the wrong thing? Should we be asking for the business class rooms? They seemed to not know what we were talking about! Maybe it was?

You have to call back and ask for a CM that knows what they are talking about. Remember, it just opened 1/1/13. The lounge is called Coconino Cove. Tell them you can show them pictures.

I just switched reservations from BWI to CSR Business Class. I think I made a good decision! I stayed at CSR for the first time by chance a few weeks ago, it happened to be the only resort available! But I am glad it worked out that way because CSR is a beautiful resort I may not have experienced otherwise. Now I am returning in May and saving a boat load of money too!

I have a couple of questions for whoever can answer. I searched high and low but couldn't find the answer...

OK first Do the Business Class rooms offer robes? And do all of the rooms in Cabana 9B have the crown wood moulding and tile floor in the sink area?

Lastly, this doesn't pertain to Business Class really... I notice there is no convention scheduled for my dates (5/26/13-6/4/13) does that mean I shouldn't have any last minute convention surprises? How far out do convention groups book events usually? When I stayed at CSR a few weeks back there was a convention, which wouldn't normally bother me, but these conventioners were particularly rowdy and inappropriate at times. It was a massive convention too.

Thank you!

Brendon

welcome to the CSR Forum! I'll be staying there in May as well in the club level rooms.

Yes, all rooms in cabana 9b have the crown molding, DVD player, and tile floor in the sink area. I also believe the king rooms have a chair.

video of cabana 9b rooms

I'll find out about the robes. They used to be standard in those rooms.

As for conventions, I would count on one being there. The list I have is ones found on the web but CSR usually has one daily whether its meeting for the day or large conventions, its there business.

Oh, and I just noticed there is a robe hanging in the video you posted Buzz, so I guess that answers my question.
