As usual, CSR is not listed in the 2010 brochure yet but it is too early in the year. Last year it was announced on January 2, 2009. I would doubt that WDW would have a moderate resort that was not participating. It just takes longer to work out the deals with the company that operates the CSR restaurants.

I wonder why the deluxe plan does not have the peak/regular pricing? For us, this was really a better deal than the regular diningplan. Our DS needs three meals a day, even if we don't, plus it was nice to just be able to eat where we wanted, without worrying about ts or cs. We are hooked on the Deluxe Plan, and CSR now, too!

I was looking at the QS plan because that is what we chose for our trip. Then I look through the CS dining options an CSR is not there Then, I come here to get the real answer. I can understand what they need to go through with the dining options and the different company that operates it. However, they could put a little caveat in the brochure that final details for these .... are still being finalized.

For 2009, it was not announced until 1/3/2009 so don't worry. WDW wouldn't let a resort go without any DDP option. They make too much from it. Also, I believe that is the reason the menu changes so much at the PM because the company that operates the PM is still trying to make money too.

I thought I had heard last year that they were talking about making the PM more like a Boma type experience? I think Boma is one of the best buffets around. We love it there and make a point of adding it to our list of restaurants every year. I think that type buffet would do great at CSR.

Lots of rumors but still no definite answer as to the direction of the Pepper Market.

I look forward to trying it again since all the changes have been made to the menu.

PostSubject: Questions about Deluxe Dining Plan   Thu Feb 11, 2010 12:33 pm

When we attend in October, we purchased the Deluxe Dining Plan:

three (3) meals (your choice of counter or table service) per day per person

two (2) snacks per day per person

one(1) Resort refillable drink mug per person

Quetion about our kiddo. He is 10 (will turn 11 on the trip) so we paid as an adult, but he eats like a bird...can he order off the child's menu? I realize that he'll still use up his credit. I figured that if we ate from the counter service, especially at lunch, he and I would share, which would save some credits for a couple meals in a Signature Restaurant, since they count as two.

Also I have read on here about the refillable mug, do you take it with you in the park for refills?

Not sure about this. I never use the DDP. I don't see why they wouldn't let him order from the kid's menu because they are still charging the same credit.

No, the mugs are for the resort it is purchased at. You purchase a mug for around $12.99 (plus tax)and are entitled to "free" refills for the duration of your stay.

Thanks. I guess the reason why I questioned it was because we will not be purchasing the mug from the resort, rather it came with the plan, but now I see the word Resort. I guess a moment of stupidity creeped in, and I thought that the whole park would be the resort.

Duh! Embarassed
