So I haven't been to Disney since March of last year and missed the Fantasyland opening. Trying to remedy that. A ton of my friends just got back and they are loving it. What I was wondering if anyone ran into what they did. So, BOG is Quick Service for Lunch and Table Service for Dinner. Dinner is full 6 months out, but no reservations required for lunch. My friends were telling me that people were lining up at Park Opening for lunch!!!

I heard that too from three different people. We're not going till Nov. so hoping for a dinner adr, but if not, we'll just try next trip. I am not spending that much time standing in line for a quick lunch!

I read on easyWDW that you have to line up no later than 2:15pm because they stop serving at 2:45pm and only one member of the party has to be there in line.

source: easyWDW
Disney aims to cut the line off so everyone is inside by 2:45pm. I wouldn’t be in line any later than 2:15pm. It’s hard to avoid the 30 minute wait. They usually start service at 10:30am. So if you get in line at 10:20am, you’re going to be waiting at least 15 minutes to order. If you get in line any time after that, expect to wait at least 20 minutes to get to the ordering kiosk and then another ten to fifteen minutes for your food to arrive. I got in line at 1:51pm. I ordered at the kiosk at 2:19pm. And my food didn’t arrive until 2:34pm. That’s 43 minutes.

Sorry if this is mentioned elsewhere, and I hope it's OK to post this:

Per Deb's

FastPass+ Test for Lunch at Be Our Guest
February 23, 2013
MyMagic+ continues to be tested in a variety of ways at Walt Disney World. The latest test is for FastPass+ Dining! Randomly selected guests at the Wilderness Lodge, Contemporary, and Grand Floridian will receive a FastPass+ card with a specified arrival time for lunch (counter service) at the Be Our Guest restaurant in the new Fantasyland. Upon arriving at Be Our Guest during the specified arrival window, the guest will receive expedited service for lunch. FastPass+ dates for this trial are February 25-28th. As with all things Disney, subject to change without notice and theme park admission is required.
