We have the Disney Dining Plan for our next trip, any tips for nice ways to use our credits at CSR?

All of the things that are available for a snack credit are marked with a little white sticker with the word "snack" on them. The snack value for the DDP is limited to items costing less than $4.00.

At the Pepper Market, the 10% service charge is included in the DP, so it winds up being a fantastic "deal."

At Rix Cafe, definitely check to see what counts as a snack before you get it. I wanted a danish on my last day and my brother went to buy them. I'm a little more well versed in all things Disney than he is, so he didn't ask if it was a snack credit before requesting the danish...it wasn't :( He wound up paying OOP. The only pastry we saw that counted as a snack was a biscuit! So just a heads up!

If you want to use your snacks, I highly suggest going down to Goofy's Candy Company at DTD!

Set aside one day to eat simply and not use a table service point. Then use the extra table service point to go to one of the signature restaurants or a dinner show, Adults will remember a sophisticated meal at on of our top end restaurants. Everybody will remember 'Hoop dee doo review" or the spirit of aloha luau.

You can now make reservations online 90 days before your arrival for WDW resort guests or 90 days before the reservation date for guests not staying at a Disney resort. That extra couple of days, is another "thank you" for staying at our resorts.

I'm not sure if this is a DDP credit or not but you have to try the gelato at Cafe Rix. The cookies n creme is delicious!

tongue that does look good, I might not be able to resist the cookie 'n' cream. If it's a snack credit that would be a great snack!

The small gelato is considered a snack item.

PostSubject: trying the dishes at CSR   Tue Sep 01, 2009 6:50 pm

It is one of the paradox of working at CSR that we are not able to try these things out. We are not allowed in guest dining in costume. I have come over in "Civvies" a couple of times to eat; but have never had a chance to try out Rix or Cafe Rix.
