PostSubject: Reservations refundable?   Fri Mar 12, 2010 9:18 pm

Now, admittedly I'm being pretty lazy here not looking through WDW website but I'd like to know if a room reservation is cancellable or if a promotion comes up later (December travel), can I rebook or apply that discount to it?

Or should I just wait a couple of months...

If you book room only, you can cancel up to 5 days prior to arrival. If you book a package, its 45 days. You can always try to get the discounted room as long as there are some available at the resort. Not every room at a resort will fall under a discount or code. WDW only puts aside a certain amount.

OK, thanks.
I noticed on Disney's website that they seem to put the hotel discounts as the season approches.

I agree, they always seem to happen after you book, especially if you book far in advance like me.

They will apply the discounts if you have already booked. I did it last year. The meal plan became available after I had booked. The only thing is I originally had reservations for All Star Movies and they changed me to Pop Century. Granted they were both Value resorts. From what I gather here and from the Disney people each hotel has a number of discounts they were given? So I guess AllStarSports had its total so they moved me. I am currently waiting for the free meal plan to be offered so I can adjust my reservations.
