Word is that Disney Rewards Visa members will soon see a FREE DINING offer from Disney near the end of April that will be followed in very early May with a similar offer for the general public. Travel dates are expected to be from mid-August to very early October. As usual, nothing is written in stone.

When you purchase a 4-night/5-day Magic Your Way Vacation package that includes room, Theme Park tickets and a Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan for stays most nights March 14, 2010 - October 2, 2010, a child 3 - 9 can stay, get 5-day Theme Park (base) tickets and the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, FREE!

Offer must be booked by June 30, 2010

Buzz posted this on another thread. I went on Disney Visa site today and do not see it. I could of sworn it was posted yesterday. Trouble is I am being greedy. It only covers one of my kids, and last year the entire family received free dining. A savings of $600+. And of course I am not going until the 13th. Mad

Thanks for the updates, Buzz-I am literally on the edge of my seat here! At this point I would like even quick service-then we would only have to pay for the reserved restaurants, which would still be a huge help in the bank acct! I need some good news this week, as do we all I am sure!

Buzz and Crew...

I contacted Disney yesterday to put down more of a deposit on my trip using the Disney Visa. I asked the operator who answered regarding the FDDP being extended. He kinda confirmed that there would be some kind of an extension of the current offer. I inquired for mid to late October and beyond and he said "Well, we really aren't apprised of what marketing has in store until they release the offer....BUT "definitely" keep your eye out and we can always adjust your reservation when it does.

Kind of gave me a little hope there. I have saved the entire amount $$$ which is currently is a lock box on my work bench in the basement. It would be nice to drop the price a cool $600 though! Smile

The kids stay and play offer just got extended to October, so I changed our reservation to that and saved about $435! Yay! I'm still hoping for a bigger savings with the free dining, though!
