Sorry if this has been asked before.

If my family and I are staying at CSR, can we drive to the Poly and park there for the day?

I figure with a little one and a jogging stroller it might be easier to park there and use the monorail.

Anybody know?

welcome to the CSR Forum!

Tell the guard at the Poly parking lot kiosk that you're there to eat...they'll give you a 3 hour parking pass & direct you to the guest parking. You'll have to move the car after 3 hours. If you want to leave it there all day, you can pay for valet parking - about $12 a day - worth it if you don't want to mess with moving the car but they still may hold you to the 3 hour limit.

If you don't want to pay, it's probably just as easy to park at the Transportation & Ticket center where you park to catch the monorail or ferry to the Magic Kingdom.

Do you think it's easier to park to catch monorail all day then drive back or just use buses? I have been going back and forth on this a lot-the monorail seems so much easier, and we have AAA which hopefully wouldn't be to full and could park, but don't know if this is just more trouble and should get on the bus..

I think that everyone finds what works best for them. I know some who swear by the bus service.

For us, we prefer to drive to the parks. It's just easier for us. We've got little ones and everything that goes with them. It works for us to be able to pack up the strollers and throw them in the back of the car rather than trying to navigate them on the bus. I also like to just hop in my car when we're ready to leave the park - whenver that may be. I couldn't imagine waiting for a bus with hot, tired kids or trying to squeeze them onto a crowded bus. Many times, they would fall asleep as soon as they hit their car seats and we would drive around to ensure they got a nice rest. Not to mention I've never felt fully comfortable with the thought of riding the bus without restraints for the little ones.

We use the AAA diamond parking as well and have always been very lucky with that. We usually arrive at the parks first thing so there's always room and we don't have to use the trams. Plus - the MK just wouldn't be the same to us without hearing the monorail announcements!
