PostSubject: T-Rex   Sun Aug 15, 2010 2:09 pm

Has anyone done T-Rex recently? We are CONFIRMED DDP folks, and have never been there. DH scored a $100 T-Rex gift card at work, so we have booked a lunch there. We have not told DS as yet, keeping this one a surprise since he has been bugging for this since it opened. Any reviews...good, bad, indifferent?

That's awesome! For our Dec 2009 trip, I tried to get in there every day for a month and had no luck. The menu looks good though. Let me know how you like it.

I tried and tried to get into TRex and Rainforest and no dice-completely booked for the whole week, lunch and dinner! Oh, that's along with Planet Hollywood! I was shocked..

Wow, what a difference a week makes...we are going about a week after you, and we are doing T-Rex and Planet Hollywood. The PH ADR was made at our 180 mark, but T-Rex was only about 2 weeks ago, when DH scored a gift card from work.

We ate at T-Rex on our trip Dec. 2008 and it was voted our favorite dining experience of our 10 day trip by all 3 of us. Atmosphere was great and the food was great as well. We definately want to eat there at least once next time, hopefully we can get in. Last time we gave our name at the front and came back about an hour later. They were calling out the names in order recieved.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you, Buzz! We really hit the dining jackpot this time...Le Celier, CRT, California Grill and T-Rex.
Thanks for sharing, saskdw, I am pretty nervous about this one. DH scored a gift card for them from work. We have never eaten at a "non DDP" establishment!

Nothing to be nervous about. You will love it!! I notice it says Flyers country in your signature. I'm assuming thats Philadelphia Flyers!!! My son and I are huge Flyers fans from western Canada.

Yes, that is the correct Flyers Country!!! We are bringing our Flyers pride with us to WDW, we have matching Flyers shirts. DH and I have Danny Briere shirts, and DS has a Claude Giroux.I want to get our picture in front of the big golf ball at EPCOT wearing our orange and black.
If you are on Facebook, and are partial to Danny Briere, I run a Danny Briere fan page, you are welcome to join.

FLYERS FANS ARE EVERYWHERE!!!
