Gran Destino Tower room photos - 11/27/19

Over the weekend I looked at the FL Res Discounts, but they are only though April. But past that in July/August I could see the standard-rates for the tower rooms. The Standard View was $250-260 and Water View was $310-330.
I'm going to wait until they have FL Res pricing available for the tower room and try to get one for a week this summer. I wish there was more pictures, to see how the new tower rooms look next to the renovated rooms.

By the way, I guess all my posts from over the past year is gone?

I booked the Tower Water View for a week in September at $210/night.
What's interesting is they don't list a Water View Club Access, only Standard View Club Access for $280.
But doesn't say yet what is in Club Access, probably the food area like other resorts.

I'll be there opening night in the Club Level standard.  I have been contacted by Disney Signature Services and they are doing my ADR's and the women did say they will most likely off the extra 3 fastpasses as well. Most likely all those standard club level rooms face outward to the fireworks at DHS.

Ok. I was wonder why there was only Standard View Club Level and no Water View Club Level, but naturally the suites will have Club Level....so it's to face Hollywood Studios for the firework view.
The reason I had chose Water View was because I'd rather have a view of the lake than out towards the parking lot.
Since you are going to be there, please check if the rooms come with a ceiling fan, as it doesn't show on the room renders, but I know the non-tower rooms have fans since I've stayed in them before.

You don't think there will be an entire floor for club level?

I haven't done CL at WDW, but I've done it at Royal Pacific and Hard Rock at Universal. They list the rooms as standard CL, but there is all views. It's just luck of the draw which view you get.

Good question. Just wondering why there is no waterview club level rooms unless all the suites are on the same floor facing the water.

It could be all the suites on one side or they just don't have a separate category.

At the Universal resorts you can't book a waterview CL view. They have CL rooms on both sides, but it's just luck of the draw which side you get.

At Grand Destino I don't think I would pay extra for a CL waterview. On one side you would have a fantastic view of the DHS and EPCOT fireworks and the other side a gorgeous view of the resort all lit up at night. I bet the digsite lit up will look fantastic from the upper tower floors. I think both views will be great.

I guess we'll know soon enough.

Right now our plan is to spend NYE at Toledo's. I think the it will be a fantastic place to spend NYE. I bet we'll be able to see fireworks from all the Disney parks, Seaworld, Universal, and maybe even downtown Orlando. Also won't have to worry about the crazy Disney traffic and crowds staying right at the resort.
